Business Administration Department

Course Registration

Dear Business Administration Students,

Welcome to the Business Administration Department at NAU! I hope you are doing well. I’m Dr. Selahattin Bekmez, the chair of Business Administration Department.  Please start using your na.edu email account from now on (NOT YOUR PREVIOUS PERSONAL EMAIL ACCOUNT), otherwise the system may not recognize you and/or your inquiries will be delayed.

The SPRING 2024 semester will be starting soon–the first day of classes is on January 17, 2024. Registration for the Spring 2024 semester is available online through the student portal. I’ve attached the online registration instructions and I’m including information in this email about resources available to help you with selecting your classes. If you have not already registered for SPRING 2024 classes, please register now as this will assist not only you, but also faculty and staff to be prepared for the start of the semester and serve you even better.

Registration for SPRING 2024: You can access registration through your student portal. If you don’t yet have access to your student portal, please check with NAU IT Support (support@na.edu) for access. Review the attached file prepared by the NAU Registrar’s Office; it contains step-by-step instructions for how to register online. Registration is open until January 7, 2024. The late registration period is January 8-16, 2024. A late fee will be applied for late registering students. The instructions for online registration are attached.

It is crucial for a student to complete prerequisite courses (such as MATH 1311, ECON 2312, ECON 2312, BUSI 2312, ACCT 2311 ACCT 2312, FINA 3312, etc.,) as soon as possible so that they can register for higher level courses in the coming semesters. It is also crucial to check your advising worksheet from your portal. If you need any of the courses that were recently added to the system, please go back to online registration to add the courses you need.

Please also specify your concentration immediately and try to complete those concentration courses as soon as possible, since they are only offered once a year. If you fail to complete your concentration courses on time, your graduation might be delayed. You can register for 3000 level concentration courses after completing 30+ credit hours and register for 4000 level courses after completing 60+ credit hours.

You can see a full list of the classes and class titles offered in the fall semester on the online Spring 2024 course schedule. The schedule also lists class times, room numbers, and instructors and is located at this website: https://www.na.edu/academics/course-schedule/ Please also read university catalogue for additional information.
